What this site is

Who Stands With Americans publishes grades for members of Congress based on their recorded votes, using the rules described on the methodology page. They are provided for information and civic education, not as advice of any kind.

Accuracy

We work from official sources and check every vote against the record, but errors are possible. If you believe something is wrong, write to [email protected]. The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it.

Using our content

You may quote, link to and share our grades and pages freely, with attribution to Who Stands With Americans. You may not present altered grades as ours, scrape the site in a way that disrupts it, or use our name to imply endorsement of a candidate, party or organization.

Third parties

Links to congress.gov, the House Clerk, the Senate, OpenSecrets, the FEC and Stripe lead to sites we do not control. Their terms and privacy policies apply there. Member portraits come from the public-domain collection maintained by the unitedstates project.

Donations

Donations are voluntary gifts to support this project. They are not payments for goods or services and are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions. Card donations are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms.

Independence

Who Stands With Americans is not affiliated with any party, campaign, candidate or government body and takes no corporate or PAC funding.
